Vintage 1930's Green Bian Gown with Sheer Ruffle Top
A beautiful example of a 1930’s bias cut gown made in a solid green crepe. Has one side with a deeper cut V and one side with a more modest v. Can be worn either way. Straps snap (one snap needs to be resin) and are made from the same material as the over shirt. Side snaps for entry. Some water stains as shown may come out with cleaning. Small splits on side seams needs easy repair. Overall in excellent untouched condition for its age and period.
Top opens in the back and snaps at the top and at the waist leaving a keyhole effect in the back. Ruffles adorn the full puff sleeves, front center and ruffle collar front and back. Material is a green pinstripe stiff organza. Some water stains on top also may come out with cleaning.
