SS 2007 Runway VPL Sage and Grey Bubble Skirt
Chanel quilted band at the waist and hem in heathered grey and same fabric in rounded patch pockets. Pleats in front and along the bottom help shape the bubble. Back has a large metal zipper and pull and a chain and logo detail at the bottom. Small spot on front should come out with washing.
VPL received a lot of interest with the first collections especially in 2005 and I really wanted to own some of the pieces since they were so unique in the bra styles with the contract banding and thicker straps.
When I saw this skirt I was very excited about the comfort and style.
Purchased from Nordstrom

VPL (Visible Panty Line) is an American fashion label founded in 2003 by Victoria Bartlett based on the idea of underwear as outerwear.
VPL started with a rebellious concept: a line of fashion underwear to be worn as outerwear (VPL is an acronym for "visible panty line"). Over the years VPL added performance functionality as activewear in order to make the concept real. Designed by women for women, VPL is a B-Corporation certified social enterprise with mission to empower women to stay fit, healthy and educated. VPL creatively incorporates fabric left over from past production into new designs and uses the cost saving to fund technology and science education for young girls across the country.
